- Blood or protein detected in urine

- Diabetes or hypertension with no kidney monitoring
- Creatinine levels above normal in blood tests
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure despite medications

Lab Tests
Key Kidney Tests Explained
These simple tests can reveal the health of your kidneys. We offer all tests in-house with same-day results.
Serum Creatinine
Normal: 0.7–1.3 mg/dL
Creatinine is a waste product that healthy kidneys filter out. Elevated creatinine indicates reduced kidney function and is one of the earliest detectable signs of CKD.
GFR (eGFR)
Normal: >60 mL/min/1.73m²
Glomerular Filtration Rate measures how well your kidneys filter blood per minute. A lower GFR indicates reduced kidney function and helps determine CKD stage.
Urine Analysis
Normal: No blood or protein
A routine urine test checks for protein (proteinuria), blood (hematuria), infection, and other markers. Abnormal results often indicate early kidney disease before symptoms appear.
All tests available in-house — results within 4 hours

Doctors do blood tests to check for things like creatinine and urea. They also check your urine. They might do an ultrasound or other imaging tests too. These tests help find kidney problems so they can make a plan to treat you.
Is dialysis something I have to do
Dialysis can be term or long-term it depends on whats wrong, with your kidneys. If you have a kidney problem you might only need dialysis for a little while.. If you have a long-term kidney problem you might need dialysis for a long time or even get a new kidney.
Can I get rid of kidney disease completely?
